We invite submissions on topics related to digitalization across different domains, including but not limited to:

Digital Transformation in Infrastructure and Building:

  • Digital Twin technology for lifecycle management and performance optimization

  • Integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) with IoT technologies for enhanced performance and decision-making

  • Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) 

Digital Construction Technologies:


  • 3D printing and modular construction for efficient building processes

  • Robotics and automation for construction tasks and site management

  • Digital fabrication and mass customization for tailored infrastructure solutions

Automation, NDT, and Robotics:

  • Autonomous machinery and robots for manufacturing, construction, and inspection

  • Non-destructive testing (NDT) and monitoring methods for structural evaluation and quality assurance

  • Automated quality control and in-service inspection techniques, including drones and mobile robots

Sustainability and Resilience:


  • Digital tools for energy-efficient building design and operation

  • Lifecycle assessment and optimization through digital platforms

  • Green building certification and sustainability tracking using digital frameworks

Data-Driven Approaches for Decision-Making:


  • Application of big data, AI, and machine learning for predictive analytics and process improvement

  • Data visualization and digital dashboards for real-time project monitoring and decision-making

  • Advanced semantic web and knowledge management tools for enhanced collaboration and compliance

We invite submissions of original research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes that advance the understanding of digital transformation. All submissions must comply with the journal's guidelines and will be subject to a precise peer-review process.



s-architecture is intended for scholars of Architecture (academe, practice, students, and the public).
