Join us for the final webinar of the ‘Climate Action and Architecture Education’ lecture series. The webinar will examine current trends, opportunities and challenges faced by Schools of Architecture in Australia and New Zealand. 

 

We will report on the preliminary findings from the largest conducted survey on climate literacy in Australasian architecture education. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Philip Oldfield (UNSW), Chris Knapp (Bond University), Dagmar Reinhardt (USYD) and Naomi Stead (Monash). This is the final event of a two-part series delivered by the Climate Action in Architectural Education Committee, the Australian Institute of Architects and hosted by the Association of Architecture Schools of Australasia (AASA).

This webinar 'Global Perspectives - International Trends in Architecture Education' will examine how architecture education is changing around the world in response to the climate crisis, with talks by three international speakers, educators and activists.

Professor Gerard Reinmuth and Associate Professor Alex Munt explore the role of visualisation in the profession, examining its significance as a tool to translate information between experts and non-experts in the field.
