Architectural Work Cultures: Professional Identity, Education and Wellbeing: Student Survey is Now Live!

Thursday, 2 September 2021

We need YOU! To tell us about your wellbeing whilst studying architecture.

Do you think that studying architecture has affected your wellbeing, for better or worse? How and in what ways? How could things be improved?

These are some of the questions we are exploring in a major, three-year Australian Research Council funded project.

Building on excellent previous surveys run by SONA, the Student Organised Network for Architecture, we are looking to gather the most reliable and comprehensive set of data ever collected about wellbeing amongst architecture students – across Australia, and over time. More information about our larger project can be found here: https://www.monash.edu/mada/news/2020/architecture-work-related-wellbeing

The data we collect from the survey will ultimately inform resources, toolkits and practical advice to help architectural practices and educational institutions to better support their people and create positive cultures.

But we need you to take part, share your experiences, and give us your thoughts!

Participation is entirely voluntary, anonymous, and confidential. Completing the survey will take around 20-23 minutes – so grab a cup of tea and settle in to contribute to a better understanding of the experience of architecture students, and a contribution to greater wellbeing for all!

The survey will be open until 20 September 21.
