Learning Environments Support of Teacher Pedagogies in Australia

PhD, Curtin University, Perth, Australia

Applications are now open for architecture graduates or researchers from related fields who want to undertake a PhD with the research project titled “Learning Environments Support of Teacher Pedagogies in Australia”. Applicants can apply for a higher degree by research with a Research Training Program scholarship, supported by The School of Built Environment and Design at Curtin University, Perth.

This project asks the question: how does the design of physical learning environments support teacher’s preferred pedagogies in Australia? This project is significant as it provides multi-disciplinary research that collects new data on Australian teacher preferences of learning environment design to fill the gap in current literature on this topic.

Applications close 18 August 2025.
