The Discipline of Architecture at the University of Newcastle’s School of Architecture and Built Environment is currently recruiting for four continuing academic positions. We would greatly appreciate you sharing these opportunities within your networks.

 

We are seeking exceptional candidates to join a collegial, research-active and industry-engaged discipline committed to “Architecture with Impact” — grounded in regional urbanism, climate-responsive design, and meaningful engagement with Indigenous knowledge and Country.

These roles contribute to a forward-looking discipline undergoing significant curriculum renewal, digital integration, and strengthened industry partnerships. Successful candidates will join a vibrant academic community focused on design excellence, innovation, collaboration and social impact.

 

We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to research-led teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the continued growth of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
