About the Indigenous Archive:
The Indigenous Archive contains more than 300 articles and is comprised of nine categories/themes. They are General, University Context, Architectural Design, Architectural Education, Design Performance and Evaluation, Policy, New Zealand and the Pacific, Planning, and Projects.
The summary list of Indigenous literature is currently recorded on the google spreadsheet see link here. Not all articles shown on the list are available in the archive due to copyright issues. If you cannot find the article in the archive folders, it is advisable that you contact the publisher directly (links to these articles are recorded on the google spreadsheet).
How to use the summary list:
When you open the google spreadsheet, the articles are documented according to their central theme, located on the bottom of the page (e.g. TAB 1 is 1000 General, TAB 2 is 2000 Unversity Context, TAB 3 is 3000 Architectural Design, and so forth).
The summary list is updated periodically. The last category, "Project" is yet to be completed.
Acknowledgments: The idea of building an Indigenous Archive was conceived by Professor Michael Tawa and participants who attended the AASA Indigenous Education Workshop in 2017. The summary list of literature was assembled by Ms. Anna Ewald-Rice. Dr. Martha Liew built the Indigenous Archive with assistance from Dr. Yusef Patel.
